Breakbulk Europe & Posidonia

Posted on June 15th by Satoshi Katada

Over the past month, I have attended two major events, Breakbulk Europa and Posidonia. Breakbulk Europe was exhibited for the first time in three years, and Posidonia was the first to participate. It's been 6 years since I started working in Turkey, and Breakbulk has participated for the 4th time. Thanks to having been able to work here for a long time, including the period of my stay, I made many acquaintances and many people visited me.

Also, since I was in charge of project transportation when I was in Tokyo, I was able to meet many nostalgic people. Also, despite new encounters such as Suvari Shipping near the booth, I was invited to dinner and I think it was a really wonderful event. I definitely want to power up and come back next year.

Breakbulk Europe was always amazed at its size, but Posidonia was twice as large. The greatness of the world's maritime industry approaching Greek shipowners, who have the largest fleet in the world, and I had an image that the maritime industry was not that big, but again, with the maritime industry. It was an opportunity to reaffirm that it is a very big industry. This time it was a day trip from Turkey, so I visited companies of interest and many Turkish companies at the venue. Perhaps because the hotel is also expensive, many visitors from Turkey are day trips like me, and I was able to network at the airport.

I will continue to participate in such opportunities as long as I have time. The photo shows the exchanged business cards, the more one is Breakbulk, the less one is Posidonia, and I had a lot of good encounters!
