Karadeniz Holding, known for having the world's largest fleet of floating power plants, is collaborating with LNG transportation leader Mitsui O.S.K Lines (MOL) to build a new powership under their joint venture, KARMOL.
Construction commenced with a steel cutting ceremony at Sedef Shipyard on July 5, and the ship is scheduled for completion and launch by May 2026. This new vessel, with an installed capacity of 257 megawatts, aims to deliver quick, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly energy solutions to regions in need.
