I am temporarily returned to Japan on last Sunday.

The next day, I visited the Turkish Embassy and had a chance to meet with Ambassador Korkut Güngen, Commercial Counsellor Ms. Güzide Zeynep Karahisarlı and Second Secretary Ms. Dilara Tütüncüoğlu.

I explained them about our plan to invite Turkish maritime companies to participate in Sea Japan 2024 and Ambassador Güngen agreed to give us full support from the Turkish Embassy.

I also explained about our business of utilizing overseas human resources, which I had explained to to Ms. Karahisarlı when I returned to Japan last time. The Ambassador also mentioned that the Embassy might be able to provide some support in this matter as well.

It has been seven years since I started my assignment in Turkiye and I renewed my determination to continue to make efforts to expand exchanges between Turkiye and Japan in various aspects.
